Special Event Use

On this page, find guidelines to help you complete the State of Georgia Special Event Use License application online using the Georgia Tax Center.

When your online submission is processed, you will receive a notification containing specific account information.

Please request a Special Event Use Permit 10 days before the start date of the event.

Special Event License Fee

  • Non-Profit - $25
  • For-Profit Malt Beverage - $50
  • For-Profit Wine - $50
  • For-Distilled Spirits - $100
  • Citizenship Verification - Alcohol, Tobacco, and Motor Fuel Affidavit for Citizenship Verification
  • RD-1061 - Power of Attorney and Declaration of Representative (if applicable)

License Description

Special Event Use - For sale of alcoholic beverages at events which would usually require a retailer or retail dealers license.

The event that shall qualify for this type of permit is that of estate sales, the sale of inventory authorized under a bankruptcy proceeding and activities that are similar in nature.

Permit shall not be valid for more than 10 days.
