Change Address on Registration

Changing your Vehicle Registration Address

If your address has changed, have it corrected on your Georgia driver’s license or ID card.

Once corrected, you may change the address on your vehicle registration using DRIVES e-Services.

Before you begin, you will need:

• License plate number or VIN number 
• Driver’s License number or Letter ID (Letter IDs may be found on any letter sent to you regarding your vehicle) 
• Proof of Residency (Lease, deed, closing statement, utility bill, etc.)

Your vehicle registration address may also be changed at your local County Tag Office.
