How do I make a payment?

Can I save my payment information?
GTC allows you to store your bank information.
When making a payment, enter your bank information and click save payment source info for future use. Enter a name for your source. You may save multiple payment sources.

Can I make a payment with a credit card?
Credit Card payments are accepted for the present tax year through 2007 for:
- Individual income tax due on original return
- Corporate income tax due on original return
- Liabilities presented to taxpayers via Georgia Department of Revenue assessment notices
- Credit cards are NOT accepted at this time for amended return payments

If the due date for filing making a payment falls on a weekend or holiday, when is the payment due?
If you pay via EFT, payment must be set up prior to 3 p.m. EST, on or before the last business day before the payment due date. Your payment will not be debited from your account until the payment date you entered. Payment dates beyond the payment due date will not be accepted.

How far into the future can I set up a payment?
Payments can be set up to occur on or before the payment due date.

What are my options in making electronic payments?
Electronic payment options include:
- ACH-Debit (NACHA) – your payment is electronically withdrawn from your bank account on the date specified by DOR.
- Credit Card, PayPal, and Venmo. The convenience fee for cards, PayPal, and Venmo is 2.19%, with a $1.00 minimum.

Can I cancel an ePayment?
Yes. Payments must be cancelled before 3:00pm EST of the payment date entered.

Can I cancel a credit card payment?
No. Credit card payments cannot be cancelled once submitted.
